Avenira Limited has commenced an air core drilling campaign at the Jundee South Gold Project in Western Australia, with drilling contractor Red Dirt Drilling spudding the first hole on tenement E53/1859.

Avenira holds a 100% interest in the project area. Field activities are proceeding under approved Western Australian Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration programs of work and completed heritage surveys carried out by the Tarlka Matuwa Piarku Aboriginal Corporation and the Kultju Aboriginal Corporation over their respective traditional grounds.

The active campaign follows a $2.637 million exploration budget approved by the Avenira board. While an earlier June 2026 schedule outlined a combined 16,200-metre program covering both reverse circulation and air core drilling, the current operational plan has been refined to 11,590 metres of air core drilling across 182 holes. Targets on tenements including P53/1712, P53/1713, E53/1859, E53/2250, E53/2297, E36/1021 and E37/1546 were developed using new geological interpretations derived from aeromagnetic data alongside historical data reviews.

Alongside the drilling rig deployment, Avenira completed soil sampling over tenements E53/2280 and E53/2317 on Kultju traditional ground in late August. Those samples were delivered to an analytical laboratory in Perth, with ultra-low-level gold and multi-element assay results anticipated by mid-September 2026. Further soil sampling is planned across additional tenements on Tarlka Matuwa Piarku Aboriginal Corporation ground, while gravity surveys are also slated to refine geological interpretations across specific project tenements.
