Aventis Hits Anomalous Uranium Across First Drill Holes at Corvo
Aventis Energy Inc. has intersected anomalous uranium in all nine completed drill holes during its first-ever drilling campaign at the Corvo Uranium Project in northeastern Saskatchewan.
The winter program totaled 2,457 metres across ten reconnaissance drill holes at the Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Tribeca target areas, with one hole abandoned due to ground conditions. Analytical results returned a total of 55 metres of weakly anomalous uranium exceeding 10 ppm, including 23 metres of moderately anomalous uranium above 50 ppm, and 13 metres of highly anomalous uranium exceeding 100 ppm.

Modeling of the drilling data defined a series of stacked graphitic faults and high-strain zones associated with hydrothermal alteration across the three target areas. The intervals also showed consistently associated pathfinder elements, including vanadium, cobalt, copper, and nickel, alongside uranium-to-thorium ratios averaging 1.5 to 5, and locally reaching up to 21.

The Corvo Uranium Project is held under a three-year earn-in option agreement with Standard Uranium Ltd., under which Aventis funded the winter 2026 drill program while Standard operated the project. Prior to the drilling program, Aventis completed surface prospecting and mapping across the Corvo project, which included surface sampling at the Manhattan showing returning up to 8.10% U3O8.
Aventis is planning additional surface exploration and geophysical work in the coming months, followed by a second-phase drilling program in 2027 to follow up along strike of mineralized drill holes and test priority targets at the Project.
