Avira Resources has received assay results for all 18 holes completed in its maiden reverse circulation drilling program at the Mt Cattlin Gold Project in Western Australia, highlighted by a standout intercept of 7 metres at 6.11 g/t gold from 105 metres at the Maori Queen prospect.

The latest batch of results confirms that high-grade gold mineralization continues at depth within the system. The 7-metre intercept in drill hole RAGC116 includes a higher-grade core of 2 metres at 15.1 g/t gold from 107 metres, intersected 25 metres down-plunge of a previous historical intercept.

Additional results from the final five holes of the program include hole RAGC117, which returned 5 metres at 1.85 g/t gold from 106 metres, including 1 metre at 7.47 g/t gold. Hole RAGC113 intersected 8 metres at 1.4 g/t gold from 37 metres, alongside a 1-metre interval at 3.06 g/t gold from 26 metres. Shallower drilling in hole RAGC116 also returned two separate upper mineralized zones, cutting 2 metres at 1.63 g/t gold from 61 metres and 2 metres at 1.31 g/t gold from 101 metres.

The mineralization at Maori Queen is interpreted as a stacked, shear-hosted architecture featuring a steeply north-west-dipping quartz-sulphide Main Lode flanked by parallel footwall and hanging-wall lodes within sheared basalt and dolerite. Broader lower-grade envelopes also accompany the higher-grade shoots, including a 27-metre intersection at 0.37 g/t gold from 68 metres in hole RAGC118, pointing to potential disseminated tonnage surrounding the main structures.

Fieldwork is scheduled to resume in September 2026, when Avira plans to resume Phase 1 RC drilling at the project, focusing on testing down-dip extensions at Maori Queen and commencing first-pass drilling at the high-grade Sirdar and Ellendale prospects.
