Avira Resources Limited has confirmed high-grade gold mineralisation at its Mt Cattlin Gold Project in Western Australia following the receipt of assay results from the first 13 holes of its maiden reverse circulation drilling program.

At the Plantagenet prospect, drilling returned 8 metres at 2.77 g/t gold from 16 metres, including a 2-metre interval at 9.68 g/t gold. Additionally, the team intercepted 1 metre at 6.14 g/t gold at 67 metres. This work indicates that the mineralisation at Plantagenet extends over at least 180 metres of strike length and suggests the presence of parallel lodes.

At the historic Maori Queen deposit, Avira intercepted 4 metres at 3.86 g/t gold from 23 metres, including 1 metre at 13.75 g/t gold. Drilling also returned 5 metres at 1.1 g/t gold from surface, including 1 metre at 3.55 g/t gold, and 5 metres at 1.02 g/t gold from 45 metres.

The drilling program, which was designed to test four prospects, is currently in a seasonal suspension due to wet weather. Avira expects to receive the remaining assay results for the initial 18-hole phase in early August 2026. Once the program resumes, the company intends to complete the Maori Queen drilling and begin initial testing at the Sirdar and Ellendale prospects.

Avira holds a diversified portfolio that includes various performance-based incentive structures, specifically 25,000,000 Class C and 20,000,000 Class D performance rights expiring in 2027 and 2028.
