Azarga Metals Corp. has mobilized a diamond drill rig and supporting equipment to the Marg copper-rich volcanogenic massive sulfide project in the Keno Hill mining district of central Yukon Territory, Canada.

The initial program is slated to commence later this month and will consist of more than 3,000 metres of diamond drilling across eight priority holes. The work is designed to test multiple high-priority exploration targets identified through previous drilling, geological mapping, geophysical surveys, and geochemical sampling. Drilling will focus on expanding known mineralized zones that have the potential to host significant copper, zinc, gold, silver, and lead polymetallic mineralization, targeting extensions of previous mineralized intercepts as well as historic structural and geochemical anomalies.

The property comprises 400 mineral claims covering approximately 8,400 hectares, located about 40 kilometres east of Keno City. The deposit benefits from established infrastructure in the district, including an airstrip, a functional base camp, nearby power corridors, and proximity to operating mines. The mineralized system remains open towards the east, west, and down-dip, with one interpreted anticlinal fold hinge within the deposit offering potential for further fold-related duplications at depth.

Trading volume on 10 August 2026 was 3,021% above the 50-day average of 18,560 shares.

Meanwhile, Blende Silver Corp. received a five-year Class 3 Quartz Mining Land Use Approval for its Blende silver-zinc-lead project within the surrounding district on 21 July 2026.
