Azincourt Energy Launches Summer Drilling and Prospecting Program at Harrier Uranium Project
Azincourt Energy Corp. has commenced its summer diamond drilling and prospecting program at the Harrier Uranium Project in Labrador’s Central Mineral Belt, with initial drilling targeting the Snegamook Uranium Deposit.
The field program kicked off in mid-August with a helicopter-supported reconnaissance and mapping initiative across the broader property package. Azincourt acquired the Snegamook Uranium Deposit in October 2024 through a definitive property option agreement to secure up to a 100% interest.
The Harrier Project covers approximately 13,000 hectares across five licence groups in Labrador’s Central Mineral Belt, incorporating the Snegamook deposit alongside more than a dozen other known uranium mineralization zones.

A 2,000-metre diamond drilling program consisting of 6 to 10 holes is scheduled to begin in early September at Snegamook. The work is designed to provide geological and confirmatory data to support potential future mineral resource estimates, subject to verification of historical data and applicable regulatory requirements.
“This late-summer program represents an important step forward for Azincourt as we begin advancing the Snegamook Uranium Deposit and broader Harrier Project in a more systematic way,” said Mark Tommasi, CEO of Azincourt Energy. “With drilling, camp and helicopter services now contracted, and with the launch of our updated corporate website, we are focused on improving market visibility while executing a field program designed to confirm historical mineralization, support future resource work, and continue building a pipeline of quality uranium targets in Labrador.”
“Azincourt's initial drilling at Snegamook is designed to confirm selected historical mineralized intervals, improve our understanding of the deposit geometry, and test opportunities to expand known mineralization,” commented Trevor Perkins, Azincourt Energy's Vice President of Exploration. “In parallel, the broader 2026 field program will continue advancing additional uranium occurrences across Harrier, with the objective of developing a stronger pipeline of drill-ready targets for future programs.”
Operations are being managed from the Florence Lake Exploration Camp under the supervision of Vice President of Exploration C. Trevor Perkins, with contracting partners providing logistics and drilling support.
