Banyan Gold Confirms New Gold-Silver Discovery at Seattle Creek with 5.70 g/t Au and 544 g/t Ag Over 0.5m
Banyan Gold Corp. has intersected high-grade gold and silver mineralization in the first drillhole at the Seattle Creek zone on its greenfields Nitra Project in the Yukon, returning 5.70 grams per tonne gold and 544 grams per tonne silver over 0.5 metres.
Drillhole NT-26-006 returned 0.91 g/t gold and 27.01 g/t silver over a 12.1-metre interval from a depth of 41.7 metres. That intercept included a higher-grade zone of 4.04 g/t gold over 1.4 metres, within which the 0.5-metre interval yielded the peak gold and silver grades. The drillhole also returned a wider intercept of 0.49 g/t gold over 27.7 metres from 26.1 metres downhole.

The reported assays cover only the top 95 metres of the 600-metre drillhole, with assays for the lower portion of the hole remaining pending. Seattle Creek is located on claims 100% owned by Banyan with no underlying royalties, approximately 25 kilometres west of Banyan's flagship AurMac Project, which hosts an indicated mineral resource of 3.639 million ounces of gold and an inferred mineral resource of 4.985 million ounces of gold.
The drilling at Seattle Creek forms part of Banyan's 2026 regional exploration program, which allocates more than 7,500 metres across eleven targets using three helicopter-supported drills on the AurMac and Nitra land packages.
“Initial assays from the Seattle Creek zone have returned high-grade gold and silver mineralization, adding another mineralized zone to our greenfields Nitra project,” stated Tara Christie, President and CEO. “Diamond drillhole NT-26-006 intersected multiple occurrences of visible gold hosted in extensional quartz veins with associated bismuth sulphosalts and arsenopyrite. Together with the other geologic indicators, Seattle Creek has the potential to expand with follow-up drilling. The discovery of additional visible gold identified in drillhole NT-26-002, with assays pending, also supports the potential to extend the Roaring Fork Zone.” — Tara Christie, President and CEO
Banyan expects further assay results for the lower portion of drillhole NT-26-006 as the 2026 regional campaign continues.
