Barton Gold Hits 24 Metres At 4.51 G/t Gold In Tunkillia Starter Pit Drilling

Barton Gold Holdings Limited has returned broad, high-grade assays from shallow areas of the starter pits at its Tunkillia Gold Project in South Australia, highlighted by drill hole TKB0703 intersecting 24 metres at 4.51 g/t gold from 47 metres depth, including 2 metres at 16.7 g/t gold from 53 metres.
“Tunkillia's 'Phase 2' drilling was expanded after early analysis of infill assays identified a potential new domain of high-grade mineralisation within its ‘Starter Pit' outlines. These ‘S1' and 'S2' pits drive Tunkillia's robust economics, and are modelled to yield a A$1.8bn operating profit during the first 2.5 years alone at current gold and silver prices.”

In August 2026, Barton commenced infrastructure sterilisation drilling to test proposed sites for waste dumps, tailings storage, and the processing plant ahead of the Pre-Feasibility Study.
A final batch of Phase 2 resource upgrade drilling assays is expected shortly. Following receipt of all remaining assay results, the company will prepare comprehensive cross-sections and updated JORC Mineral Resource estimates for both gold and silver, with the Pre-Feasibility Study targeted for completion in the first quarter of calendar year 2027 and a Mining Lease application to follow.
