Barton Gold Holdings Limited has reported further high-grade assay results from its Phase 2 reverse circulation drilling program at the Tunkillia Gold Project in South Australia, returning broad shallow mineralisation within the project’s high-value starter pits.

The ongoing 39,000-metre campaign has focused on infilling the S1 and S2 starter pits alongside the Area 51 deposit. Among the latest batch of assays, hole TKB0703 returned 24 metres at 4.51 g/t gold from 47 metres depth, including 2 metres at 16.7 g/t gold from 53 metres, while hole TKB0678 intersected 11 metres at 5.51 g/t gold from 14 metres depth, including a 2-metre interval grading 24.7 g/t gold from 16 metres.

Additional notable intercepts include hole TKB0639, which returned 6 metres at 6.61 g/t gold from 70 metres depth including 1 metre at 32.4 g/t gold, and hole TKB0681, yielding 7 metres at 4.10 g/t gold from 65 metres depth including 1 metre at 19.0 g/t gold.

“Tunkillia's 'Phase 2' drilling was expanded after early analysis of infill assays identified a potential new domain of high-grade mineralisation within its 'Starter Pit' outlines. These 'S1' and 'S2' pits drive Tunkillia's robust economics, and are modelled to yield a A$1.8bn operating profit during the first 2.5 years alone at current gold and silver prices.”

“Given that the average grade driving these economics in the 'Starter Pits' is 1.05 g/t Au, the new assays are exceptional.”

Prior to these results, Barton Gold completed a cumulative 57,653 metres of reverse circulation and diamond drilling across 520 holes throughout its Phase 1 and Phase 2 campaigns at Tunkillia. The company also holds regional gold assets in South Australia, including the Tarcoola project within trucking distance of its processing plant alongside Tunkillia.

A final batch of Phase 2 drilling assays is expected shortly. Once received, Barton Gold will prepare comprehensive cross-sections and proceed with updated JORC Mineral Resource estimates for both gold and silver. These updates will feed directly into an ongoing Pre-Feasibility Study, which is targeted for publication during the first quarter of calendar year 2027 to support a planned Mining Lease application and project financing discussions.
