Barton Gold Holdings Limited has returned new shallow, high-grade reverse circulation assays from a 3,677-metre drilling program at the Tolmer silver discovery, extending the strike length of the western silver zone to over 500 metres.

The drilling program targeted infill and extensions at Tolmer, located within the Tarcoola Gold Project in South Australia. Among the significant intersections, hole TBM0272 returned 14 metres at 247 g/t silver and 1.36 g/t gold from 100 metres depth, including a 5-metre interval grading 576 g/t silver and 3.11 g/t gold from 100 metres. Additional high-grade results included hole TBM0260, which intersected 13 metres at 364 g/t silver and 0.74 g/t gold from 44 metres, featuring a 1-metre subsection yielding 1,570 g/t silver and 4.45 g/t gold.

In addition to expanding the western silver footprint, the drilling program added broad, high-grade gold intersections to Tolmer’s eastern gold zone. Hole TBM0289 returned 16 metres at 3.74 g/t gold and 15.1 g/t silver from 57 metres, while hole TBM0290 yielded 8 metres at 9.34 g/t gold and 13.6 g/t silver from 90 metres.

Barton holds 100% of the Tarcoola project, which hosts the Perseverance open pit mine alongside the Tolmer discovery. The company also owns the fully permitted Central Gawler Mill in South Australia, positioned near its regional assets. Barton targets future gold production of 150,000 ounces per annum, backed by total company JORC Mineral Resources of 2.2 million ounces of gold and 3.1 million ounces of silver across its Gawler Craton assets.

“Our South Australian Tolmer silver discovery continues to yield broad, high-grade silver assays across an expanding footprint. With a shallow profile and having produced trial concentrates grading over 100,000 g/t Ag, Tolmer is already hinting at real potential for a low-cost, high-margin operation. We will share our further analysis in due course.”

Preliminary analyses for petrology and structural interpretation are currently underway. The company is also expediting full metallurgical testwork using composite samples prepared from the recent drilling to evaluate potential recoverability.

“We are also planning to update our 3.1 million ounce Tunkillia silver Resource, where 58,000m drilling was recently completed to support JORC upgrades, a Pre-Feasibility study, a Mining Lease application and financing discussions.”
