Baru Gold Corp. has confirmed that Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has verified its application to commence production operations at the Sangihe Gold Project as complete.

The company submitted all requested documentation following an earlier request from the ministry, known as ESDM. The filings included audited financial statements spanning multiple years, tax compliance certification, corporate structure details, beneficial ownership information, and administrative materials.

Management met with ministry officials to confirm that nothing further is required and that the application is moving through final internal processing steps. Baru Gold holds a 70% interest in the project through its Indonesian subsidiary, PT Tambang Mas Sangihe.

To prepare for operations and limit potential delays following formal approval, Baru Gold initiated the fabrication of an automated Electrowinning Elution Column Plant in March 2026.

“I am encouraged by the progress we are making and will continue to work constructively with ESDM toward the prompt issuance of the/ approval required to commence production operations. We are particularly pleased to have received confirmation from ESDM that our application is complete and that there are no further requirements outstanding. With our team now on site at Sangihe working closely with the local community in preparation for operations, we are ready to move forward.”

ESDM may hold one final meeting with Baru Gold next week regarding the production approval application as it completes its final processing steps.
