Battery X Metals Inc. deposited C$54,039.40 with the Government of Saskatchewan to maintain the mineral claims comprising the Y Lithium Project in good standing while evaluating potential exploration programs.

The deficiency deposit, made through wholly-owned subsidiary YY Resources Inc., extends the good-standing dates for the property's four mineral claims across two blocks covering approximately 5,856 hectares within the Ennadai Greenstone Belt. Three claims now hold good-standing status until May 16, 2027, while the remaining claim is extended to May 18, 2027. Battery X Metals acquired 100% ownership of the asset in September 2023 through a share exchange agreement to acquire the subsidiary.

To maintain the claims and recover the recent deficiency deposit alongside an earlier C$21,133.83 extension deposit, the company must complete and submit eligible exploration expenditures totaling approximately C$141,877.43 by the May 2027 deadlines. In April 2026, the company elected not to renew mineral claims at its Reservoir-Dozois and Leaf River projects to focus on advancing high-priority exploration assets including the Y Lithium Project.

To meet these requirements, the company is evaluating a potential Phase I geological mapping and sampling program, with third-party geological consultants providing preliminary cost quotations totaling approximately C$127,425 for the contemplated scope of work. Technical planning builds on a high-resolution LiDAR and orthophoto survey completed in 2025, which fulfilled the previous year's exploration expenditure requirements through a 1.5x incentive credit and supported the filing of a National Instrument 43-101 technical report in October 2025.
