BCI Minerals Limited has appointed Ian Hansen as a Non-Executive Director, effective 1 November 2026, as the company strengthens its board capabilities ahead of upcoming production milestones.

Mr Hansen brings more than 40 years of experience across the chemicals, fertilisers, resources and industrial sectors. Incoming Non-Executive Director Ian Hansen served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers from 2017 until 2024. His background includes leading large-scale industrial operations, major capital projects and export supply chains. He currently serves as Chairman of Covalent Lithium, a joint venture between Wesfarmers and SQM.

Mr Hansen is required to stand for election at the annual general meeting of shareholders scheduled for 20 November 2026.

Concurrently, the company advised that Chris Salisbury will not seek re-election and will step down from the board following the conclusion of the 2026 annual general meeting. Mr Salisbury joined the board in May 2021, overseeing the transition of the Mardie Salt Operation from development and construction through commissioning and operations.

“Ian Hansen is a highly respected Australian business leader with deep operational and governance experience. His experience leading large-scale process operations, export supply chains and complex industrial businesses will be highly valuable as BCI continues the operational ramp-up of Mardie and focuses on delivering safe, reliable and efficient production.”
