Bellavista Resources Limited is advancing a 15,000-metre mineral resource delineation and extensional diamond drilling program at the Pickle Crow Gold Project in Ontario, Canada, alongside initial environmental and metallurgical studies.

Drilling at Pickle Crow focuses on the top 260 metres of the existing mineral resource, which contains one million ounces of gold at 4.1 grams per tonne at a cut-off grade of 0.5 grams per tonne, sitting within a total inferred mineral resource of 2.8 million ounces at 7.2 grams per tonne. By the beginning of September, approximately 3,000 metres had been drilled into the western ends of zones one and three.

However, unexpected laboratory assay turnaround times in Canada reaching up to ten weeks have pushed the expected announcement of initial drilling results from late in the September quarter to October. Bellavista has assessed alternative laboratory capacity and commenced processing samples with a second Canadian laboratory.

Alongside the active drilling campaign, development studies have begun at Pickle Crow. CSL Environmental and Geotechnical has been engaged to conduct environmental baseline studies out of Thunder Bay, following an initial site inspection and review of previous monitoring data. Meanwhile, Primero Group Americas, Inc. is preparing a metallurgical testwork program for near-surface mineralisation targeted by the current drilling.

Bellavista acquired an initial 70 percent interest in Pickle Crow through a transaction with FireFly Metals Ltd in April 2026, alongside exercising an option to increase that stake to 80 percent. The company reported $30 million in cash at the end of June following a $35 million placement completed in February to fund asset acquisition and exploration.

In Western Australia, Bellavista has completed a 4,000-metre reverse circulation drilling program at its Brumby Project to test mineralisation continuity and provide targets for resource definition drilling planned later this year. Bulk samples collected during the program are being prepared for column leach testwork with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation. The preparation follows a site visit and a subsequent planning workshop held in Perth in early September by company personnel alongside researchers from the Australian National University and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation.
