Benton and Metals Creek Expand Newfoundland Land Holdings and Complete Soil Gas Sampling

Benton Resources Inc. and Metals Creek Resources Corp. have entered into a purchase agreement with G2B Gold to jointly acquire a 100% interest in two mineral licenses covering 30 claim units in the Deer Lake Basin and Parson's Pond area of Newfoundland, split equally with 50% ownership each.
Under the terms of the conditional agreement, the companies will issue 120,000 common shares of Metals Creek and 82,500 common shares of Benton to G2B upon closing. The acquisition is subject to a 2% net smelter royalty retained by G2B, with the joint partners holding the right to purchase half of that royalty for $1 million.
Independently, Benton has entered into a separate agreement with G2B to purchase a 100% interest in a single mineral license consisting of four claim units by issuing 17,500 common shares. This license ties directly onto Benton's Dominion property in Newfoundland and is also subject to a 2% net smelter royalty with a $1 million buyback option for a 1% interest. Both transactions remain subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval and are scheduled to close five business days after regulatory clearance is received.
These additions build on previous claim staking completed by Benton and Metals Creek in mid-2026 to expand their land holdings at the Smoking Gun and Parson's Pond projects. Project operator Benton also staked five new map claims near the tenure between late May and late June 2026.
Concurrently, the partners have completed two regional soil gas sampling programs at the Smoking Gun and Parson's Pond projects. Field crews collected over 700 samples, which have been sent to a laboratory in Saskatchewan for analysis. Laboratory results from the sampling programs are expected to be received and reported within the next two weeks.
