BHP Group Limited (BHP) has confirmed its updated executive leadership team, which will take effect on 1 September 2026. This announcement follows the earlier disclosure that Brandon Craig would succeed current leadership as Chief Executive Officer. The newly solidified team structure is intended to guide the global miner’s operations, including significant assets such as the Mining Area C iron ore complex in Western Australia.

The finalised roster features ten core executive roles. Key appointments include Vandita Pant, who will serve as Chief Financial Officer, and Jessica Farrell, who takes on an expanded remit as President of North America and interim President of South America starting 1 July 2026. Other leadership positions include Edgar Basto as Chief Enterprise Performance Officer, Caroline Cox as Chief Legal, Governance and External Affairs Officer, and Catherine Raw, who assumes the role of Chief Development Officer.

Additional appointments round out the operational and technical functions. Geraldine Slattery will continue as President Australia, while Rag Udd remains in his position as Chief Commercial Officer. Johan van Jaarsveld is appointed as Chief Technical Officer, and Jad Vodopija completes the team as Chief People Officer.

This announcement represents the finalisation of a leadership transition process that began in March 2026. While the initial notice identified the incoming Chief Executive Officer, the current update provides the full structural framework for the executive group. By clarifying these roles months in advance, the company aims to establish a clear management mandate for the leadership team under the incoming administration as it oversees its global portfolio.
