Bison Resources Expands Jasperoid Alteration And Brecciation At Bald Peaks

Bison Resources has identified additional gossanous breccia and jasperoidal alteration trends at the Bald Peaks Project in Elko County, Nevada, expanding on a previously outlined 1.5-kilometre-strike arsenic-antimony geochemical anomaly.

The Bald Peaks property is one of four projects comprising the company's 26.1-square-kilometre Nevada portfolio, alongside Ruby Lake, Cherry Springs, and Medicine Range. Field crews have completed systematic soil sampling on a 100-metre by 100-metre grid across the entire project area and collected an additional 310 rock chip samples from intensely altered outcrops.

All 310 rock chip samples are currently undergoing gold and multi-element laboratory analysis. Meanwhile, mapping, rock chip sampling, and soil sampling have also commenced at the separate Ruby Lake Project to test for intrusion-related mineral systems such as porphyry and skarn copper-gold mineralization. Bison Resources is planning a maiden drill program across priority targets within its Nevada portfolio later in 2026.

Commenting on the exploration progress, CEO Tim Mackellar said that the team is increasingly encouraged by the scale of the system emerging at Bald Peaks, noting that widespread alteration, brecciation, and geochemical anomalism provide multiple indicators consistent with the targeted Carlin-type system as datasets are integrated for maiden drilling.
