Black Canyon Limited has received final assay results from resource definition and expansion drilling at the Wandanya project, extending the base case manganese mineralisation 400 metres to the south.

The final round of drilling delivered high-grade shallow intercepts, including 7m at 40.7% Mn from 5 metres in hole WDRC825, with a 4m subsection grading 48.3% Mn from 7 metres. Hole WDRC826 returned 6m at 35.3% Mn from 2m, including 3m at 45.3% Mn from 5m, while hole WDRC829 intersected 6m at 35.8% Mn from 7m, including 4m at 43.4% Mn from 8m.

The newly defined 400-metre southern extension remains open over a further 1.4 kilometres of strike along a broader 9-kilometre mineralised corridor. In the 2026 program to date, Black Canyon has completed approximately 17,200 metres of resource definition and expansion reverse circulation drilling.

“Receiving these final assays is a highly rewarding conclusion to our resource drilling program. The results consistently deliver shallow, high-grade manganese, and confirm a 400m southern extension to our 3km base case footprint, highlighting significant growth potential of the Wandanya system,” said Managing Director Brendan Cummins.

Black Canyon holds a 100% interest in the Wandanya project. To support regional exploration, the company was previously awarded up to $264,800 in co-funded geophysics and deep reverse circulation drilling under the Western Australia Government Exploration Incentive Scheme, which helped fund a 38-square-kilometre gravity survey. Additionally, project owner Muccanabout Pty Ltd staked two new mineral tenement claims near the project on 5 June 2026.

A maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for both manganese and iron is on track for completion in September 2026, which will feed into a Scoping Study expected in early December 2026. A 5,000-metre reverse circulation program is scheduled to commence in the coming weeks to further test the 9-kilometre mineralised system.
