Black Canyon Starts 5,000m RC Drill Campaign at Wandanya

Black Canyon Limited has recommenced reverse circulation drilling at the Wandanya manganese and iron project in Western Australia to test untested extensions along the nine-kilometre mineralised trend.
The approximately 5,000-metre program will initially target a 1.4-kilometre southern extension before moving north to test a 2.8-kilometre iron-enriched ridge. Recent extensional drilling successfully stretched the project's base case footprint from 3.0 to 3.4 kilometres, returning high-grade manganese intercepts including 5 metres at 29.4% manganese from 3 metres and 4 metres at 44.8% manganese from 4 metres.
Black Canyon acquired the Wandanya South tenement in November 2025 to secure the southern strike continuation of the mineralised horizon. The ongoing exploration also benefits from up to $264,800 in co-funding awarded in June 2026 under the Western Australia Government Exploration Incentive Scheme to support geophysics and deep reverse circulation drilling across the area.
The current drill program is expected to take one month to complete, with first assay results anticipated in early October 2026.
“We are keenly testing the broader 9km trend to unlock potentially significant incremental mineralisation with 5,000m of RC drilling now underway across the 1.4km southern extension before moving on to the 2.8km northern iron enriched ridge.”
— Brendan Cummins, Managing Director
The company remains on track to deliver a maiden mineral resource estimate for the 3.4-kilometre base case in September 2026, followed by a scoping study in early December 2026 to outline the economic pathway for the project as a potential dual-commodity development.
