Blue Jay Gold Corp. has commenced a Phase 1 diamond drilling program at the Becker-Cochran antimony-silver occurrence, situated on its 100%-owned Steller Gold Project in southern Yukon.

The 10-hole campaign tests structural extensions of known antimony mineralization along historical underground workings and evaluates the down-dip continuation of the shear zone below two levels developed in the 1960s. Historical activity at Becker-Cochran was halted due to falling antimony prices rather than a lack of geologic potential.

The Steller property spans a contiguous 170-square-kilometre land package and hosts a past-producing mine that yielded approximately 80,000 ounces of gold at 13 grams per tonne. The asset also carries an NI 43-101 resource comprising an indicated resource of 400,000 ounces of gold-equivalent at 9.06 grams per tonne and an inferred resource of 450,000 ounces of gold-equivalent at 6.45 grams per tonne. Antimony mineralization forms no part of this current estimate.

“The underground development at Becker-Cochran stopped in the 1960’s because the antimony price collapsed, not because the target wasn't promising,” said Geordie Mark, CEO of Blue Jay Gold. “The Company's interpretation is that the historical underground development, which reached less than 100 metres below the surface outcrop, worked only the uppermost part of the system, and that the system may extend as much as 600 metres below surface.”

“We see considerable potential to extend the defined lateral and vertical continuity of mineralization of the system. Antimony is a critical mineral the Western world is short of, and we have it right here in our backyard.”

Earlier project updates indicated that the 2026 exploration drilling program focused primarily on the Skukum Creek and Mt. Skukum deposits while metallurgical studies were conducted at Becker-Cochran. Results from metallurgical studies on stibnite-rich mineralization from the prospect are expected later in September 2026.
