Blue Jay Gold Hits 14m at 8.04 g/t AuEq at Steller
Blue Jay Gold Corp. has returned initial assay results from its maiden 2026 diamond drill program at the Steller Gold Project in the Yukon Territory, highlighted by hole SC26-003 intersecting 14.00 metres grading 6.15 grams per tonne gold and 124 grams per tonne silver, or 8.04 grams per tonne gold equivalent, from 495.00 metres.
The intercept includes a higher-grade interval of 10.50 metres grading 7.84 grams per tonne gold and 154 grams per tonne silver, representing an approximate 32-metre down-plunge extension of the mineralization intersected in 2021 by drill hole SC21-027.

“SC26-003 is the kind of result we underwrote when we bought this project,” said Geordie Mark, CEO of Blue Jay Gold. “It confirmed mineralization more than 30 metres down-plunge of SC21-027, drilled in 2021, with effectively the same width, grade and grade distribution. That is what continuity looks like: not just a string of separate hits, but a zone you can follow. We identified this area as being completely open to depth and down-plunge. That was the call, and we have delivered results that exemplify our thesis.”
Additional drilling across the program tested other targets. Initial drilling at Mt. Skukum returned 0.50 metres grading 57.40 grams per tonne gold and 44.10 grams per tonne silver from 160.80 metres in hole MS26-001. Meanwhile, drill hole SC26-004 deviated from its planned trajectory and returned 1.00 metre of 1.15 grams per tonne gold from 377.00 metres, with the company planning to re-drill the target in a subsequent phase.
The 100%-owned property hosts a past-producing mine that yielded approximately 80,000 ounces of gold at 13 grams per tonne, alongside an NI 43-101 resource comprising an indicated resource of 400,000 ounces of gold-equivalent at 9.06 grams per tonne and an inferred resource of 450,000 ounces of gold-equivalent at 6.45 grams per tonne. Blue Jay is advancing a fully funded, up to 16,000-metre diamond drilling program following a $14.7 million private placement closed in April 2026.
Further assay results from completed and ongoing drill holes at Skukum Creek and other target areas across the project are expected during and post the completion of quota drilling. Blue Jay shares are currently trading at $0.86, up 13.16% on the day.
