Blue Moon Metals Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a land package and associated water rights in Pershing County, Nevada, for US$3.5 million in cash and US$4.5 million in common shares, more than doubling the Springer project's existing water rights.

The transaction adds over 2,100 acres of land bounded by Interstate 80 and the Union Pacific railroad, located roughly 14 miles from the Springer mine via Tungsten road and the highway. The associated water permits hold over 1,500 annual foot-acres of water rights in the Imlay basin, featuring a maximum pumping rate exceeding 4,300 gallons per minute and an on-site 60 KVA power line, establishing a potential logistics base for the operation.

“This acquisition more than doubles Springer's existing water rights and ensures that Springer retains its flexibility to grow into the future as a hub-and-spoke processing complex. The land package can also act as a strategic logistics hub, with access to highway I-80 and adjoining the Union Pacific rail line.”

— Christian Kargl-Simard, CEO of Blue Moon

The purchase agreement was executed on September 2, 2026, with completion expected in early 2027, subject to TSXV approval and the transfer of the water rights to Blue Moon. No finders' fees are payable on the transaction.

Blue Moon acquired the Springer mine and processing plant in February 2026 before securing primary state environmental permits and posting a reclamation closure bond for the project in August 2026. The company also launched a 67,000-metre two-phase diamond drilling program at Springer in August 2026, which is anticipated to finish by the first quarter of 2027.
