Blue Moon Metals Inc. has secured the transfer of the Water Pollution Control Permit and Reclamation Permit for its Springer tungsten project in Pershing County, Nevada, into the company's name following the approval and posting of its reclamation closure bond.

The permits serve as the primary state environmental authorizations required for mine development in Nevada, governing the construction, operation, and closure of facility infrastructure. With the permits and bond now in place, Blue Moon is authorized to begin construction activities at the site, which include the refurbishment of the existing mill.

The milestone follows the company's acquisition of the Springer tungsten mine and processing plant in February 2026 for an aggregate cash consideration of US$18.5 million. At the time of the transaction, the facility lacked primary operating permits held in the company's name.

In addition to the state permits, Blue Moon received formal approval for its Notice of Construction concerning the project's tailings storage facility on August 18, 2026, from the Nevada Division of Water Resources' Dam Safety Section, allowing dam construction to proceed on schedule. The company also maintains a 67,000-metre diamond drilling program at the project, which is anticipated to finish by the first quarter of 2027. Tungsten production startup at Springer is targeted for late 2027.

The receipt of these principal state environmental authorizations marks a key operational step for Blue Moon as it prepares for refurbishment and construction work at the Pershing County site.
