Boron One Holdings Inc. has successfully produced commercial-grade colemanite concentrate from test samples sourced from its Piskanja deposit in Serbia, utilizing conventional and environmentally sustainable processing methods.

The test program used material designed to simulate run-of-mine feed anticipated during future commercial operations, incorporating representative proportions of hanging wall and footwall waste materials consistent with mining dilution models. Earlier metallurgical testing evaluated representative mineralized samples taken from colemanite bodies only. By factoring in realistic waste rock dilution, the current processing work provides a more accurate assessment of expected commercial performance.

The results of this processing study, alongside related tailings and backfill studies, comprise the final remaining amendments requested by the Serbian Mining Ministry for the company’s Serbian-compliant feasibility study. In accordance with regulatory procedures, Boron One has requested a temporary suspension of its documentation review process by the Ministry while these final amendments are prepared. Once completed, the updated feasibility study will be resubmitted to the Ministry to resume the formal review process toward obtaining Exploitation Field approval for the project.

The permitting work advances the asset toward operational status alongside existing commercial commitments. In May 2026, the company executed a binding three-year commercial offtake agreement for the future sale of boron mineral concentrates and derivative products from Piskanja, securing a minimum commitment of 25,000 tonnes per year once fully operational production facilities are established.
