BPM Minerals Limited (BPM) has announced a 20,000m reverse circulation drilling campaign across its Forelands gold project in Western Australia. This initiative represents the largest exploration program in the company’s history, significantly scaling up from previous individual drilling allocations as the project advances toward potential resource estimation.

The campaign is divided into two 10,000m workstreams. At the Beachcomber prospect, the focus is on resource definition through infill and extensional drilling. This program is specifically designed to provide the necessary drill density to support a maiden JORC-compliant Mineral Resource Estimate. This marks a strategic evolution from earlier exploration efforts, where BPM conducted two smaller RC programs to identify mineralised lodes across the Yellow Dam Shear Zone. The Beachcomber phase is further supported by a co-funded drilling grant through the Western Australian Government's Exploration Incentive Scheme.

"This is the largest drilling commitment in BPM’s history, and it reflects exactly where the Forelands Project sits today. At Beachcomber, twelve months of systematic work has grown the prospect from three historical fencelines into a large gold system with multiple mineralised lodes. The next step is obvious – drill it to the density required to estimate a maiden resource. That work will give us the clearest possible picture of what we own the option over and will directly inform our decision on exercising the option to acquire the Project" — Oliver Judd, CEO

Simultaneously, the company will initiate a 10,000m maiden drilling program at the Bonnie & Clyde prospect. This area has been a primary focus of recent technical preparation, including a 1,500-sample ultrafine fraction soil program and detailed airborne magnetic surveys. These datasets have defined a 6km-long gold-in-soil anomaly that the company intends to test systematically. BPM is currently awaiting final regulatory approvals before commencing the drill work.
