Bravo Mining Corp. subsidiary Bravo Metals Ltda. has received formal authorization from Brazil's National Council for Export Processing Zones to establish its approved industrial project within the Barcarena Export Processing Zone in Pará State, Brazil.

The authorization, granted under Resolution CZPE/MDIC No. 128, secures a 20-year tax, foreign exchange, and administrative regime for the project. Key benefits include the suspension of federal taxes on imported equipment and inputs, alongside exemptions from specific import and export licensing requirements.

Under the resolution, Bravo Metals is authorized to establish operations within the Barcarena zone to manufacture nickel-platinum group metals mattes and alloys comprising platinum, palladium, rhodium, nickel, copper, and cobalt. The regulatory milestone follows the formal creation of the Barcarena Export Processing Zone by Presidential Decree in January 2026, building on Bravo Metals' designation as the anchor company for the zone in November 2025. The designation marks the first time a mineral project has been selected as an anchor tenant of a Brazilian export processing zone.

The authorization is separate from the environmental licences and permits required for the construction and operation of the proposed facilities.

The Barcarena Export Processing Zone is situated within the industrial district of Barcarena, adjacent to the Port of Vila do Conde, providing access to bulk handling infrastructure and international shipping routes.

The regulatory approval provides a framework to evaluate the downstream processing of concentrates potentially produced from the 100%-owned Luanga palladium, platinum, rhodium, gold, and nickel project located in the Carajás Mineral Province.
