Brightstar Resources Limited has intersected 7 metres at 119 grams per tonne gold from 199 metres, including 1 metre at 751 grams per tonne gold, from reverse circulation drilling at the Bull Oak deposit within the Sandstone Gold Project in Western Australia.

The infill program at Bull Oak, part of the 2.9-million-ounce Sandstone Gold Project, was designed to increase mineral resource confidence to the Indicated category for an upcoming pre-feasibility study. Additional significant intercepts from the host granodiorite include 21 metres at 3.83 grams per tonne gold from 262 metres and 7 metres at 12.2 grams per tonne gold from 87 metres. Bulk unconstrained intervals returned 184 metres at 1.00 gram per tonne gold from 135 metres.

Drilling also intersected high-grade mineralisation within the adjacent basalt and banded iron formation sequence, with results including 9 metres at 7.39 grams per tonne gold from 26 metres.

The Bull Oak deposit currently hosts a Mineral Resource Estimate of 10.5 million tonnes at 1.0 gram per tonne gold for 322,000 ounces. The asset has grown approximately fourfold since being acquired by Brightstar and is being assessed as an open-pit mining operation. The geological setting features a felsic intrusive sharing similarities with the Two Mile Hill deposit located 8 kilometres to the southeast.

The current phase of work comprised 39 reverse circulation holes for approximately 7,500 metres and 11 diamond drill holes for approximately 2,900 metres, with three rigs currently active at Sandstone. Assays for a portion of the drilled holes remain pending.

Brightstar expects to release an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for Bull Oak ahead of delivering the pre-feasibility study for the Sandstone Gold Project before the end of 2026.
