Broken Hill Mines Limited has reported an extensive set of high-grade silver, lead, zinc, copper and gold drilling intercepts from 29 holes within the open pit area of the Pinnacles Mine in New South Wales.

The drilling returned results highlighted by hole BPD0125, which intersected 3.8 metres at 31.5% zinc equivalent and 873 grams per tonne silver equivalent from a depth of 77.0 metres. Another notable intercept in hole BPD0075 returned 14.4 metres at 20.3% zinc equivalent and 561 grams per tonne silver equivalent from 69.3 metres.

The program also continued to trace gold and copper overprinting across the polymetallic system. Intercepts included 5.6 metres at 3.2 grams per tonne gold and 0.2% copper from 87.0 metres in hole BPD0075, alongside 10.0 metres at 1.6 grams per tonne gold and 0.3% copper from 111.0 metres in hole BPD0032.

The new assay results support open pit mining operations currently underway at the project. Mined ore from the open pit is being trucked approximately 15 kilometres to the 100% owned Rasp processing plant for processing.

Broken Hill Mines previously approved investment for a tailings dewatering facility at the Rasp Processing Plant to support the ramp-up to a 750,000 tonnes per annum processing rate.

The company's Phase 2 drilling program at Pinnacles is progressing with approximately 16,500 metres completed out of a planned 25,000 metres. Approximately 31,000 metres of completed drilling results remain to be incorporated into calculations. Broken Hill Mines expects to release an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Pinnacles project at the end of 2026.
