BRS Resources Ltd. has dispatched its technical exploration team back to the SilverGold Mountain property in Sonora, Mexico, to launch an intensive two-week Phase II field program following recent sampling success.

The exploration campaign focuses on systematic mapping and additional in-situ sampling across the property to establish a deeper understanding of structural controls and vein continuity before finalizing and submitting permit applications for a maiden drilling program.

The two-week field program is led by experienced geologist Hugo Vargas and Manuel Machiche, President of Operations for Canson Mining Group Latin America, which directly manages field site operations, regulatory compliance, and community relations at the project. Preliminary geochemical evaluations indicate that the property hosts a complex polymetallic and critical minerals horizon containing precious and base metals alongside a rhodium anomaly.

“In this second phase, our objective will be to define the structures, veins, and controls of the mineralization more precisely through a systematic mapping and sampling program. The results obtained so far have identified the presence of gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, molybdenum, and tungsten, in addition to a rhodium (Rh) anomaly that opens an additional line of research into platinum group elements. We want to reach the drilling stage with a much more solid understanding of the priority targets, their continuity, and their geometry, in order to assess how this polymetallic system develops both laterally and at depth.”

BRS Resources secured definitive rights to acquire the SilverGold Mountain project concessions in August 2026, expanding its operational footprint within Sonora's Mulatos Gold Belt. Activity across the wider district continues to highlight the region's precious metals potential, underscored by nearby step-out drilling results from Regency Silver Corp. at its Dios Padre project, which reported an intercept of 36.35 metres grading 5.06 g/t gold, 41.85 g/t silver, and 1.10% copper. The upcoming field data will be used to refine target depth and geometry ahead of drill permit submissions.
