Buffalo Potash Corporation has received a ministerial determination from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment confirming that the Initial Production Module at its Disley Project does not require a formal Environmental Impact Assessment.

The regulatory decision follows a technical proposal submitted in August 2026 by Axiom Group. The ministry concluded the facility met none of the six criteria defining a development under the Environmental Assessment Act. The determination remains subject to the project proceeding as described, the ministry being notified of significant changes, and work commencing within two years.

The Disley Project is located about 50 kilometres northwest of Regina. Phase 1 development of the Initial Production Module, consisting of a source well and a disposal well, was completed in August 2026.

The module is designed to produce 125,000 tonnes per annum of soluble-grade potash as the first of three planned solution mining facilities. Buffalo targets first production in the first quarter of 2027.
