C3 Metals Identifies Multiple Deep Porphyry Targets in 82.5-Square-Kilometre 3DIP Survey at Bellas Gate
C3 Metals Inc. has completed an 82.5-square-kilometre 3D-electrical geophysical survey at the 100% owned Bellas Gate project in Jamaica, identifying multiple deep-rooted chargeability anomalies across two northwest-southeast trending porphyry belts.
The 3D-induced polarization survey encompassed approximately 167 line-kilometres of receiver coverage and 158 line-kilometres of transmitter coverage across the Arthurs Seat and Bellas Gate blocks, achieving investigation depths of approximately 1,000 metres. Inversion of the data defined two well-developed chargeability anomalies paralleling the Connors and Camel Hill porphyry belts, with the strongest responses concentrated over the Provost, Kola and Lucky Valley prospects. At the Kola prospect, the survey confirmed a new, large chargeability anomaly.
Previous drilling across the project's porphyry belts returned significant copper and gold intersections, including 309.0 metres at 0.44% copper and 0.33 g/t gold at the Connors prospect, 207.8 metres at 0.43% copper and 0.20 g/t gold at Camel, and 280.7 metres at 0.37% copper and 0.21 g/t gold at Provost.
Following the survey, C3 Metals has designed an 11-hole diamond drill program totalling 10,800 metres to test high-priority geophysical targets. This represents a material increase in planned meterage compared with a previous drilling programme that planned nine holes over 2,750 metres. Drilling is anticipated to commence in October 2026 and conclude by April 2027, with the Provost prospect slated for deep testing beneath mineralization identified in past drilling.
The 13,020-hectare project is subject to an earn-in agreement entered into on February 11, 2025, with Freeport-McMoRan Exploration Corporation, a wholly-owned affiliate of Freeport-McMoRan Inc., whereby Freeport can earn up to a 75% interest by funding up to US$75 million in exploration and project-related expenditures.
