Canada Nickel Company Inc. has reported the highest-grade drill intervals to date from its 100% owned Reid Nickel Sulphide Project, located approximately 39 kilometres northwest of Timmins, Ontario.

Assay results from the first two holes of a nine-hole infill drill program included hole REI26-92A, which intersected 1.01% nickel over 4.5 metres within a broader interval of 0.54% nickel over 43.5 metres. That higher-grade section sat inside a wider intercept of 0.29% nickel over an overall drillhole length of 576.6 metres.

The current nine-hole program is designed to infill previous drill sections and upgrade potential zones into inferred and indicated mineral resource categories. The Reid property hosts an existing resource published on January 12, 2026, containing an indicated resource of 0.87 billion tonnes grading 0.23% nickel and an inferred resource of 1.45 billion tonnes grading 0.22% nickel.

In addition to the drilling update, Canada Nickel entered into an amending agreement regarding the acquisition of a 100% interest in mineral claims in the Cochrane District of Northern Ontario. Under the revised terms, the company will pay $2,400 in cash and issue 60,000 common shares to the vendors, subject to approval from the TSX Venture Exchange. The vendors will retain a 1.5% net smelter return royalty, with Canada Nickel holding an option to buy down half of the royalty for a one-time payment of $500,000.

Canada Nickel is anchored by its 100% owned flagship Crawford Nickel-Cobalt Sulphide Project and is actively advancing multiple regional properties across the Timmins Nickel District. The company expects to report remaining assay results from the ongoing nine-hole drill program at Reid as testing continues.
