Canada Nickel Secures C$15 Million Private Placement to Advance Crawford
Canada Nickel Company Inc. intends to raise gross proceeds of C$15 million through a non-brokered private placement. The proposed financing consists of 10,000,000 units priced at C$1.50 per unit.
Each unit comprises one common share and one-half of a common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share at C$2.25 for 36 months following the issue date.
The transaction is conditional upon customary closing requirements, including the execution of definitive documentation and the receipt of approvals from the TSX Venture Exchange. Securities issued to purchasers outside Canada under specific prospectus exemptions are not expected to be subject to a four-month hold period.
Canada Nickel plans to direct the net proceeds toward permitting and engineering activities for the company’s projects, the repayment of outstanding debt, working capital, and general corporate purposes.
The company is advancing its flagship Crawford Nickel-Cobalt Sulphide Project in the Timmins Nickel District of Ontario towards a construction decision in 2027. Taykwa Tagamou Nation acts as a development partner in the project and associated infrastructure, including power transmission and electric haul fleet initiatives.
The current offering matches the C$15.0 million raised in December 2025, but carries a higher unit price of C$1.50 compared to the previous C$1.20 and a higher warrant exercise price of C$2.25 versus C$1.80.
“Today's funding allows the Company to continue advancing our Crawford Nickel project towards a construction decision next year while we continue to work on various financing initiatives which we expect to be completed later this fall.”
