Canadian Gold Resources Expands Gaspé Land Holding by 72% Following Strategic Staking Along Garin River Fault
Canadian Gold Resources Ltd. has expanded its footprint in Québec's Gaspé Peninsula by 72% through the map-staking of 195 mineral claims covering approximately 11,164 hectares immediately south of its Lac Arsenault and Robidoux properties, bringing its total land position to approximately 29,225 hectares.

The strategic acquisition secures additional ground along the Garin River Fault and associated structural splays. The structure runs parallel to the regionally significant Grand Pabos Fault, with both corridors considered prospective for vein-type gold mineralization. Regional government geophysical data also indicate a broad magnetic feature within the newly staked area; while the source is presently unverified by fieldwork or drilling, the company notes it could potentially represent a buried intrusive body.
Canadian Gold Resources intends to review available geological and geophysical data and undertake initial field reconnaissance to assess the setting of the claims and prioritize targets for further exploration. The staking forms part of the company's broader strategy to consolidate prospective ground around its existing assets, which encompass the Lac Arsenault, Robidoux, and VG Boulder properties in the Gaspé region.
"The staking of these lands is a logical extension of our land position in the Lac Arsenault - Robidoux area," said Ken Chernin, Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Gold Resources. "Our principal objective was to secure prospective ground covering the Garin River Fault and related structures. The presence of a regional magnetic feature within the acquired area provides an additional reason to evaluate the ground."
