Canagold Resources Features New Polaris in Canada Investment Summit Prospectus

Canagold Resources Ltd. has included its 100%-owned New Polaris gold-antimony project in northwestern British Columbia in the official prospectus for the Canada Investment Summit.
The summit is hosted in Toronto by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney in partnership with the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board. The event brings together international institutional capital, strategic industry participants, and government partners with the objective of attracting up to $1 trillion of investment into Canada, directing capital toward a select group of projects identified in the prospectus.
Inclusion in the publication provides validation of the project's potential to establish a domestic source of both gold and antimony production, contributing directly to the development of Canada's critical minerals supply chain. Antimony has been designated a critical mineral by Canada due to its strategic importance in defense, electronics, and clean-energy applications, positioning the asset among a limited number of advanced-stage domestic developments capable of supplying these materials.
Canagold submitted its Environmental Assessment Application for the project in April 2026, following the completion of a Feasibility Study in 2025 that outlined the potential for an underground gold and antimony mining operation. The British Columbia government designated New Polaris as a priority major project in May 2026, and the application is currently under active review by the British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office as the company advances the asset through permitting, technical studies, and stakeholder engagement.
Canagold shares rose 4.48% to trade at $0.70 in the session coinciding with the announcement.
“Inclusion in the Canada Investment Summit Prospectus recognizes New Polaris as one of the premier development-stage projects in the country, with the potential to make a meaningful contribution to Canada's critical minerals strategy,” commented Catalin Kilofliski, Chief Executive Officer of Canagold . “With our Feasibility Study complete and our Environmental Assessment Application under active review, New Polaris is well-positioned to advance toward a construction decision. We are proud to represent British Columbia's gold and antimony potential at this event, and we welcome the opportunity to engage with the institutional capital and strategic partners the Summit will bring together.”
