CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. has received assay results from the 2026 winter drill program at the West McArthur Project in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin, highlighted by drillhole WMA101-02 intersecting 5.4 metres grading 1.48% U3O8, including a 0.4-metre interval grading 10.5% U3O8.

The winter program comprised 24 unconformity tests, with 10 containing uranium mineralization. The results extended the hydrothermal system over a 1.3-kilometre strike length along the C10S corridor, featuring step-outs of 350 metres from the high-grade Pike Zone footprint.

Other notable assays include drillhole WMA100-02, which returned 0.5 metres at 2.89% U3O8, and WMA101-01, which intersected 0.5 metres at 0.95% U3O8. The drilling identified key structural controls, confirming potential for additional mineralized pods along the trend.

CanAlaska holds an 88.89% ownership interest in the West McArthur Project through a joint venture with Cameco Corporation.

The ongoing 2026 summer drill program is testing step-outs and infill targets along the C10S corridor to evaluate potential for additional high-grade pods, with completion expected in September.

Additionally, the company staked a new mineral claim near the project on June 11, 2026, and appointed Rebecca Kupchinski as Exploration Manager. Kupchinski previously contributed to discoveries at the Pike Zone and Patterson Corridor East, and most recently served as Exploration Canada Manager for Uranium Energy Corp.
