Capitan Silver Hits 1,363 g/t AgEq at Cruz de Plata
Capitan Silver Corp. has reported assay results from thirty-five drill holes at its Cruz de Plata project in Durango, Mexico, expanding the continuous drilled strike length of the Jesus Maria Silver Trend to 2.8 kilometres.
The latest results from the 60,000-metre drill program include two new high-grade silver zones discovered at depth east of the Peñoles Fault within Target Area B. Drill hole 26-ERRC-63 intersected 848.0 grams per tonne silver equivalent over 1.5 metres within a wider 29.0-metre interval of 181.4 grams per tonne silver equivalent, alongside a lower zone returning 429.9 grams per tonne silver equivalent over 1.5 metres within 3.0 metres grading 340.5 grams per tonne. Drill hole 26-SRRC-32 returned 889.9 grams per tonne silver equivalent over 1.5 metres within a 27.4-metre interval of 142.4 grams per tonne.

In Target Area C, drill hole 26-JMDD-09 intersected 1,363.1 grams per tonne silver equivalent over 1.1 metres within a 3.1-metre interval of 731.3 grams per tonne. Additional intercepts across the three target areas included drill hole 26-ERDD-14, which returned 1,123.6 grams per tonne silver equivalent over 1.0 metre.
Four drill rigs are operating at the site in what represents the largest drill program in Capitan Silver's history. The company secured an exploration permit in June 2026 to allow drill testing across expanded targets along the Jesus Maria Silver Trend and newly acquired concessions. Work is advancing to test the trend to a vertical depth of 500 metres, with a pilot televiewer survey also underway to gather structural data.
“I'm very pleased with the results from our 2026 drill program. The footprint of the Cruz de Plata continues to expand and confirms our thesis that we have a large, silver-rich mineralized system. Our most recent batch of assay results have returned an abundance of high-grade silver intercepts, which not only expand known mineralization to 2.8 km along the Jesus Maria Silver Trend, but also expand the mineralized envelope deeper. Most significant - and encouraging - is the fact that these results have also encountered high-grade mineralization in all three of our major target areas, which reinforces our confidence in the robustness and large-scale potential of this asset.”

Assays are currently pending for 78 additional drill holes across multiple priority targets as the active campaign continues.
