Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. has completed four diamond drill holes at its 100%-owned Lightning Strike gold-silver project in British Columbia, with core cutting and sampling currently underway ahead of initial assay shipments to MSALabs in Langley.

The current field work follows a July program start that initially anticipated at least five holes. The project area itself was expanded earlier in January 2025 when Cariboo Rose reached an agreement to option the contiguous Thunder Ridge gold-silver property. Initial assay results from the active Lightning Strike drilling are expected within four to six weeks following sample dispatch.

At the Cowtrail copper-gold project, Cariboo Rose and partner BRS Resources Ltd. have finished core cutting and sampling across 1,293 metres of drill core recovered from four holes. Those samples have already been shipped to MSALabs in Langley, with initial analytical results also anticipated within four to six weeks.

BRS holds an option to earn a 60% interest in Cowtrail by completing $2,000,000 in exploration expenditures, making $200,000 in total cash payments, and issuing $200,000 in shares by December 19, 2028.
