Cascade Copper Corp. has completed priority sampling for all five holes of its maiden drilling program at the Centrefire Copper-Gold Project, located 40 kilometres from Dryden, Ontario, with every hole intersecting sulphide mineralization indicative of a Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide environment.

Logging of the core showed that holes CF-26-03 to -05 exhibited significant copper mineralization appearing as chalcopyrite. Priority samples from all five holes have been submitted to Activation Laboratories for multi-element analysis using a 4-acid near-total digestion with ICP-MS and ICP-OES techniques, alongside gold analysis via a 30-gram fire assay with an atomic absorption finish.

The 2,500-hectare Centrefire project is situated in the Wabigoon Greenstone Belt and has seen past exploration by Phelps Dodge between 1968 and 1970, which discovered stacked intervals of copper, gold, and nickel mineralization. Recent modern work by Cascade has confirmed surface mineralization, re-interpreted and modelled geophysics, and defined priority drill targets, with recent surface sampling returning values up to 2.86% copper, 2.84 g/t gold, and 23.5 g/t silver.

Initial assay results from the drilling program are expected by mid- to late-September 2026. Pending those assay outcomes, Cascade Copper is contemplating a borehole electromagnetic survey to test for hidden Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide-style conductors near the current drilling footprint, which could lead to a follow-up Phase 2 drill program targeting along strike and to depth of the best intersections.

Management notes that visual identification of minerals does not guarantee economic grades and that core visuals and grab samples are selective in nature and await laboratory confirmation.
