Cascadia Minerals Ltd. has appointed Stuart Van Bibber as Vice President Sustainability and Regulatory Affairs to oversee community engagement, regulatory consultation, environmental management and land negotiations across the company’s Yukon portfolio.

The appointment adds more than two decades of territorial environmental and permitting experience to the leadership team. Van Bibber’s background includes senior roles with territorial governments, First Nations organizations and consulting firms, alongside previous board service on the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board and the Yukon Mineral Advisory Board.

The 180-square-kilometre Carmacks Project serves as Cascadia's flagship asset, situated within the Traditional Territory of the Little Salmon Carmacks and Selkirk First Nations.

In addition to the executive appointment, Cascadia named Sue Craig as an advisor to provide ongoing guidance on environmental, social, Indigenous and community relations. Craig brings over 35 years of industry experience across northern development projects.

To support the appointments, the company granted 600,000 incentive stock options under its Omnibus Equity Incentive Plan. The options carry an exercise price of $0.50 with a five-year term, vesting quarterly over a period starting three months from the grant date.
