Catalina Intersects High-Grade Tungsten And Polymetallic Values At Santy Prospect

Catalina Resources Ltd has returned rock-chip sampling results up to 0.62% WO3, 12,300 ppm bismuth, 1,480 ppm molybdenum, 1.96% copper, 530 ppm silver, and 5.70 g/t gold from the Santy Prospect within its Tallering Project.

The sampling program, alongside a review of historical drilling data, has prompted a geological reinterpretation of the prospect. Catalina now views Santy as an intrusion-related tungsten system associated with a concealed, fractionated felsic intrusive source, marking a shift from previous exploration focused on volcanic-hosted massive sulphide models.

Multi-element geochemistry has confirmed a fertile fractionated granite-hydrothermal system, with rubidium reaching up to 393 ppm, cesium up to 27.4 ppm, lithium up to 123 ppm, and tin up to 46.2 ppm. Historical reverse-circulation drilling from the prospect returned intercepts including 17 metres at 0.178% WO3 from 79 metres, with higher-grade intervals within that zone.

The Santy Prospect is situated on the Tallering Greenstone Belt, positioned along strike from the historical A Zone Deposit, which contains 63,000 ounces of gold at 2.1 g/t, and the Mixy Deposit, holding 65,000 ounces of gold at 4.3 g/t. Historical exploration across the area predominantly targeted gold and base metals.

Strong tungsten, molybdenum, and bismuth mineralisation coincides with an eastern induced polarization conductivity anomaly. Because historical drilling was completed before the geophysical survey, this target has not been systematically tested under the revised geological model.

Catalina staked one new mineral tenement near the project on 30 June 2026. Drill planning, broader soil sampling, and further fieldwork are scheduled at the Santy Prospect before the end of 2026.
