Cazaly Resources Limited (ASX: CAZ) has moved to advance exploration at its Abenab North project in northern Namibia, contracting a high-resolution drone-based aeromagnetic survey. The program is designed to cover three priority magnetic targets within the licence area, with the primary focus on the untested Cadix anomaly. This circular feature, measuring over 800 metres in diameter, represents the most significant target identified to date within the company’s 790-square-kilometre tenure.

The survey involves flying approximately 196 line-kilometres using 50-metre line spacing at a low, terrain-following altitude. This approach is intended to provide a much clearer image of the anomaly’s internal structure and geometry compared to existing historical data. By refining the definition of the magnetic high, the company aims to establish precise drill-collar locations ahead of a maiden drilling program scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.

The Otavi Fold Belt in Namibia is known for its prospectivity regarding carbonatite-hosted rare earth elements and base metals, with nearby historical production highlighting the potential of the geological setting. Beyond the Cadix anomaly, the project hosts several other pipe-like features that the company plans to evaluate as part of its wider regional strategy.

While this Namibian project remains a key focus for base metals and critical minerals, the company maintains a diverse exploration portfolio. In Western Australia, it continues to pursue gold exploration at its Goongarrie project in the Kalgoorlie region.

The current geophysical program at Abenab North is expected to move quickly, with permitting and mobilisation forecasted for completion within approximately five weeks. Following the data acquisition, the company will proceed with final interpretation to confirm the scope and orientation of the upcoming maiden drill holes.
