Cazaly Resources Limited (ASX: CAZ) has officially commenced on-ground preparations at its Goongarrie project in Western Australia. Earthworks are currently underway to clear lines and establish safe access for an upcoming maiden aircore drilling program. The company is targeting a 2.6-kilometre strike length along the prospective Bardoc Tectonic Zone, a shear corridor known for hosting gold mineralisation beneath shallow alluvial cover.

The primary objective of this 3,000-metre program is to follow up on historical drilling that returned significant gold intercepts, including one standout result of 38m @ 3.1g/t gold. By systematically testing this trend, the company aims to determine if the mineralisation remains open at depth and along strike.

Mobilisation of the aircore rig to the Hastings prospect is expected to occur shortly, marking a key transition from site preparation to active exploration. As the program progresses, Cazaly intends to utilise the initial aircore data to refine its understanding of the subsurface geology. While this current phase focuses on identifying near-surface gold potential, the company has already indicated that it intends to plan deeper reverse circulation drilling to test any significant results that may emerge from the aircore campaign.

Following the completion of the 3,000-metre aircore drilling program, the company will report assay results once they have been received and fully validated. These findings will serve as the next major data point for investors monitoring the development of the project’s high-priority gold targets.
