Century Global Commodities Corporation reported $3.3 million in sales from its Century Food distribution business for the first fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2026, generating a gross margin of 27.6% and a profit before tax of $0.1 million.

The results compare to sales of $3.5 million, a 27.0% gross margin, gross profit of $1.0 million, and a profit before tax of $0.2 million for the same period last year. Free cash and profit generated by the food distribution segment during the period contributed to sustaining the mining division and corporate overhead, supplementing wider fundraising efforts.

As of June 30, 2026, Century held unrestricted free cash, bank deposits, and marketable securities totaling $1.6 million, down from $2.4 million as of March 31, 2026. Net working capital remained steady at $5.0 million over the same timeframe, which the company stated is adequate to cover near-term ongoing administrative and basic mineral properties development expenses.

Century operates primarily as a resource exploration and development business with multi-billion-tonne iron ore projects in Canada. Its most advanced asset is the Joyce Lake direct shipping iron ore project in Newfoundland and Labrador, held through its special purpose vehicle, Joyce Direct Iron Inc.

Joyce Direct Iron is currently progressing through the environmental impact statement process and environmental permitting requirements for the Joyce Lake development.
