Chalice Mining has received an independent endorsement of its environmental approvals strategy and schedule for the Gonneville Platinum Group Metals-Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project in Western Australia from former WA EPA Chair Dr Tom Hatton.

The expert review concluded that Chalice has appropriately identified key environmental approval risks and uncertainties, with mitigation measures in place or planned. The assessment supports the company's ongoing approvals pathway and its targeted Final Investment Decision in the first half of calendar year 2028.

Dr Hatton holds no financial interest in Chalice or the Gonneville Project. His review evaluated the company's approvals strategy, risk mitigation measures, and indicative timeline, while recognizing extensive engagement with State and Commonwealth regulators, Traditional Owners, and local stakeholders, as well as the project's priority status with both governments.

Wholly owned by Chalice, the Gonneville Project is located on company-owned farmland approximately 70 kilometres north-east of Perth. Environmental modelling for the development has recently been completed ahead of the scheduled submission of Environment Review Documents in the fourth quarter of 2026, with ministerial approval remaining on the critical path.
