China Gold International Resources Reports Record US$512M First-Half Net Profit On US$914M Revenue
China Gold International Resources Corp. Ltd. reported record financial results for the second quarter and first half of 2026, driven by higher revenue and earnings across its operations.
For the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, revenue increased by 50% to US$461.0 million from US$307.3 million for the same period in 2025. Net profit for the quarter more than doubled to US$275.8 million, up from US$116.3 million a year earlier and advancing from US$236.4 million in the first quarter of 2026. Mine operating earnings reached US$327.3 million, compared to US$159.4 million previously, while operating cash flow rose to US$286.5 million from US$191.3 million.
For the first half of 2026, the company recorded revenue of US$914.2 million, up 58% from US$580.4 million in the first half of 2025. First-half net profit increased to US$512.1 million from US$202.3 million, and mine operating earnings reached US$620.1 million compared to US$277.1 million previously. Operating cash flow for the six-month period totaled US$555.2 million, up from US$334.8 million.
Operational output showed mixed results during the periods. Total gold production decreased by 14% to 37,498 ounces in the second quarter from 43,403 ounces a year earlier, bringing first-half gold output to 72,317 ounces compared to 88,200 ounces previously. Total copper production edged up to 41.1 million pounds, or approximately 18,641 tonnes, in the second quarter, compared to 39.7 million pounds in the prior-year period. First-half copper production totaled 78.6 million pounds, or approximately 35,671 tonnes, up from 77.0 million pounds.
Open pit mining activities at the CSH Gold Mine remain temporarily suspended pending resolution following a localized slope instability event that occurred on May 22, 2026.
