Coast Copper Expands Copper Kettle Property in British Columbia
Coast Copper Corp. has entered into an agreement to acquire an additional mineral tenure adjacent to its 100%-owned Copper Kettle property on northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Under the terms of the agreement, Coast Copper will issue 300,000 common shares at a deemed price of $0.345 per share, representing an aggregate consideration of $103,500. The transaction requires no cash payment or exploration expenditure commitment. The company will grant the vendor a 2% net smelter return royalty, which can be reduced to 1% for $1,000,000 and further reduced to 0.5% for an additional payment of $2,000,000. Closing is subject to customary conditions, including TSX Venture Exchange approval.
Coast Copper holds a 100% interest in the Copper Kettle property, positioned on northern Vancouver Island between the past-producing Island Copper Mine and Northisle's North Island project. The company previously completed a 14-square-kilometre Audio Magneto Telluric geophysical survey at Copper Kettle, which identified an underlying intrusion beneath peripheral skarn-style mineralization.
"We are pleased to be able to add prospective ground on trend of our Copper Kettle property and adjacent to BHP's Island Copper mining lease and Northisle Copper and Gold. While continuing to complete advanced geological modeling of Copper Kettle (see news release May 7, 2026 ), we have completed geophysical and sampling programs on some of our non-core British Columbia assets and continue to monitor the large programs being undertaken by our neighbours..."
— Adam Travis, Chief Executive Officer
The company is advancing geological and copper-equivalent exploration-target modelling for the Copper Kettle property, expecting to complete this work in the coming weeks subject to data validation and final review by a qualified person.
In parallel, Coast Copper received Notice of Work Permit No. 2000708 from the BC Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals, authorizing geophysical surveying and diamond drilling at Copper Kettle. The company is engaged in discussions with two First Nations whose asserted interests overlap the project area to establish working frameworks. Coast Copper has adjusted certain field activities while these discussions continue and expects to begin its permitted work program as the frameworks are finalized.
