Conquest Resources Hits 15.31 g/t Gold Over 3.00 Metres in Smith Lake Channel Sampling

Conquest Resources Limited has returned high-grade gold assays from a recent sampling program at its 100% owned Smith Lake Gold Project in Ontario, highlighted by a weighted average of 15.31 g/t gold over 3.00 metres from Channel 5.

Company personnel visited the property in June to collect 15 channel samples and three selective grab samples across the Campbell Vein. Individual channel lengths ranged from 0.35 to 1.60 metres, with gold grades spanning from 0.03 g/t to 29.1 g/t. Six of the 15 channel samples returned grades exceeding 1 g/t gold, including a second composite weighted average of 1.95 g/t gold over 1.95 metres from Channel 1.

The selective grab samples ranged from 0.17 g/t to 4.98 g/t gold. Material was collected primarily from pyrite-bearing, folded massive to ribbon-textured quartz veins and sheared metavolcanics. Conquest noted that the grab samples are selective by nature and not necessarily representative of wider mineralization, while true widths for the channel samples have yet to be determined.

Samples were delivered to Activation Laboratories in North Bay, Ontario, and analyzed using standard fire assay packages with a gravimetric finish applied to samples exceeding 5,000 ppb gold. The program included QA/QC procedures featuring inserted standards and blanks alongside the laboratory's internal checks.

The exploration work unfolds as gold was priced at US$4,434.50 per ounce, representing a 10.48% increase over the 30-day period ending 12 August 2026.

To follow up on the current sampling, Conquest plans to execute an approximate 500-sample B-horizon geochemical survey at Smith Lake this fall. The program will cover an area north-northeast of the main gold zone, targeting potential east-west oriented structures that have seen very little historical exploration.
