Copper Quest Exploration Inc. has completed an extensive 20-square-kilometer three-dimensional induced polarization geophysical survey across the main Stars property in British Columbia, while advancing permitting and structural updates across its broader portfolio.

The large-scale geophysical survey was applied across the 100% owned porphyry copper-molybdenum project, covering the Tana Zone discovery area and its along-strike extensions. Induced polarization is a proven method for detecting sulphide mineralization at depth and away from known drill holes. Copper Quest holds a 100% interest in the 9,693-hectare Stars property within the Bulkley Porphyry Belt, which includes historical Tana Zone drill intercepts such as 0.466% copper over 195.07 meters.

Elsewhere in British Columbia, the company completed 1,654 meters of drilling across five holes during the phase 2 program at the Rip project. Samples have been sent to an independent laboratory for storage prior to preparation and assaying. Copper Quest and ArcWest Exploration Inc. began negotiations on June 2, 2026, to amend the existing option agreement under which Copper Quest holds an option to acquire up to an 80% interest in the property. Assay work remains on hold until those negotiations conclude.

Permitting is underway for the 100% owned Alpine project, involving extensions to existing exploration and drilling permits alongside road access evaluations. The company is evaluating sorting and processing equipment for Alpine ore and discussing potential partnerships with milling operations. At the 100% owned Kitimat project, permitting advances include preparations for geophysical and drilling programs over the Jeannette target area.

In the United States, Copper Quest has established a wholly owned subsidiary to hold its 100% owned American assets, with the formal ownership transfer of the past-producing Auxer Gold Mine and the Nekash copper project in process. The company is seeking partners to advance exploration across Thane, Auxer, and Nekash. Activity in the regional district includes Vizsla Copper Corp. reporting drill results from its Poplar project on July 16, 2026, intersecting 304.8 meters of 0.48% copper equivalent from 13.2 meters down hole.

“The Company is now focused squarely on the advancement and development of its seven 100% owned properties, advancing past-producing gold mines as well as taking previously drilled exploration targets to the next level of exploration and discovery stage.”

— Brian Thurston, CEO of Copper Quest

The company is awaiting the final report from the induced polarization survey at Stars. Shares of Copper Quest are currently trading at $0.08 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
