Corcel Hits 10.14m at 0.65% Cu and 0.47g/t Au in Final Phase I Drills at Yuma King
Corcel Exploration has released final assay results from its Phase I drill program at the Yuma King Project in west-central Arizona, completing 1,087 metres across six drill holes with copper and gold intersected in every hole.
Drill hole YK26-006 returned two distinct mineralized zones separated by a porphyritic intrusion. The lower sulfide zone yielded 24.5 metres of 0.47% copper, 0.32 g/t gold, 3.59 g/t silver, and 164 ppm molybdenum from 212 metres downhole, including 10.14 metres grading 0.65% copper, 0.47 g/t gold, 4.73 g/t silver, and 141 ppm molybdenum from 219.21 metres. The upper oxide zone returned 4.4 metres of 0.71% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 8.46 g/t silver, and 5.5 ppm molybdenum from 28.05 metres.
Meanwhile, drill hole YK26-005A intersected 8.97 metres of 0.46% copper, 0.39 g/t gold, 3.8 g/t silver, and 250 ppm molybdenum starting at 116 metres downhole, adjacent to a porphyry intrusion containing 47 metres of strongly anomalous copper, gold, and molybdenum. The deeper mineralized skarn intersection in YK26-006 suggests the skarn horizon is structurally duplicated or present in multiple horizons.
The project spans a district-scale land position of 3,200 hectares comprising 515 unpatented federal mining claims in the Ellsworth Mining District and hosts the past-producing Yuma King Mine, which recorded underground production of copper, lead, gold, and silver between 1940 and 1963.

Following the completion of the Phase I program, Corcel plans to advance and test several compelling targets during a Phase II exploration program.
